    EIGHTEEN EIGHTY EIGHT (1888) Cable Network

    is initially a Cable TV Network Provider established in 1995 and have continued to provide CABLE TV services to the city of Ilagan, Isabela. The CABLE TV Network holds a Legislative Franchise (Certificate of Authority) to operate a CABLE TV Network. Operation of the 1888 was shortly hampered following the flood brought about by the typhoon “ULYSSES” but recovered, bringing about a new service and technology bundled with the CABLE TV Services, that of “Internet Services”. In July 2021, 1888 laid the ground works for providing Fiber Optic Technology for its Internet services. After 3 months of setting up the technology and infrastructure, the “1888 FIBER INTERNET + Cable TV” was introduced to Ilagan, initially launched at Aliguigan 2nd, Ilagan, Isabela.

    To date, 1888 continues to provide quality and reliable high-speed fiber optic Internet, bundled with “PREMIUM” Cable TV Channels going by the tag-line “Quality, Service and Sustainable”.

    The 1888 INTERNET and CABLE TV Network has its SERVER and HEAD-END facility located at Alinguigan 2nd, National Highway, 500 meters from MALALAM BRIDGE and its OFFICE located at Purok 4, Tubo, Aliguigan 2nd, Ilagan City, Isabela.

    THE BUSINESS

    We have the following documentation:

    THE INTERNET

  • 1888 INTERNET is FIBER all throughout, from the Source to the Backhaul, Feeder, down to the Drop-Lines to your homes (FTTH).
  • Some providers claim that they are Fiber but only lines going to your homes are the only ones that are connected via Fiber.
  • o We range from 40 mbps to as high as 100mbps

    o Yes, we offer UNLIMITED INTERNET

    o We do not have DATA CAPPING

    o Our minimum bandwidth is 25MBPS to as high as 100MBPS extendable up to 300MPBS

    o Number of devices would most likely rely on the type of activity for which the INTERNET shall be utilized, but on the average, it can accommodate from 10-12 simultaneous connections.

    o We can only ascertain Downtime for those that are within our CONTROL, for POWER OUTTAGES, we commit of an hour delay. For those that are not within our control such us problems arising from INTERNET SOURCE problems and Cabling Problems, we, as much as possible try to resolve matters within 24-hours.

    o We have Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) for outtages lasting for hours and STANDY-BY Generators for prolonged power outtages.

    o We have ALTERNATE INTERNET SOURCE

    SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE

  • We have dedicated and responsive Customer Service (organic) personnel to entertain calls involving inquiries, complaints and feedback available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Text messages received after Office Hours are accommodated the next day.
  • We do not have Customer Service during Sundays but read Text Messages. Response during Sundays is discretionary on our part.

  • o We have in-house (organic) Technical Team, which is our advantage over other players. That’s the reason why we can commit to repairs within 24 hours that other TELCO’s cannot provide because they employ “OUTSOURCING SERVICES” or CONTRACTORS to address Repair/Maintenance concerns of the clients.

    o Problems may be reported through our HOTLINE or via the 1888 WEBSITE

  • o We offer FREE INSTALLATION as a PROMO, but more often than not, the PROMO All-Year Round. Under this scheme, all equipment is provided as a loaned/borrowed resource, which will be returned to us upon cessation/termination of service.

    o If it is under a FREE INSTALLATION SCHEME – you just need to prepare the advance payment for the PLAN you have subscribed (e.g. for PLAN-1200, pay 1,200 pesos as initial cash-out)

    o We do not bind clients on a LOCK-IN Period or Contract

  • We promote our PLAN 1200 at ___ MBPS which for is the most ideal PLAN for HOME use.

    BILLING, COLLECTION AND PAYMENT

    o We have designated COLLECTION PERSONNEL making their rounds during your DUE DATE

    o We issue Statement of Account and Certification upon demand for purposes of reimbursement

    o We have a Computer-Generated POINT-OF-SALE type of receipts generated but we also issue ORs for purposes of reimbursement only on demand.

    o We do not immediately DISCONNECT Internet Service, we first send notice via test messages and seek confirmation for settlement of dues.

    CABLE TV

    o We have 30 Channels and working towards 50 Channels. We do however have ”PREMIUM” Channels in our list.

    o Cable TV only can be availed but shall be given last priority. Area shall first be saturated with INTERNET subscribers.

    o Yes, your can attach multiple TV Connections via coaxial cable and splitters.
